I remained living in this “sanatorium”, because lakes were located in four directions, only within five minutes from me. Also, beautiful nature phenomena, uplands and valleys seven days a week. All this catches the eye when you live here. The small size of the little town let the natural wealth shine on every street and give people much more time to live. Michelin stars, praising lines by The New York Times add a romantic touch. Viljandi is a modern provincial town for me. It is modern to live here.
Viljandi is like idyllic Southern France in the middle of Estonia. A dreamy place where you can walk across the rooftops. A town created for creation, where there is both midday silence and captivating café bustle. A place that has everything close by.
